Cadet Start Back on the 27th March 2012 @ 6:30pm

Somerset junior fire brigade has Junior members ranging from the age of 10 to 17 and are all the future of the Somerset fire brigade. The juniors go through much the same on station training as the senior members .

Training nights are Fortnightly on Tuesdays from 6.30pm to 8.00pm. The junior members train in all types of fire fighting including ; basic fire fighting, bushfire safety and survival, first aid, and more .

Basic First Aid

Prepare maintain & test response equipment

Operate Pumps

Proceedure for responding to Urban & remote structural fires

Navigation in urban & rural envorments

Wildfire proceedures

Hazmat proceedures

Note: under TFS policy some topics only have limited practical for cadets.
